Body Scrubs & Body Wraps - Aftercare and Advice
We hope you had a wonderful experience at Touch of Paradise! We hope you enjoyed your body scrub or body wrap treatment with us! We have created this page to give you all the aftercare advice and tips you need for after your treatment. The advised for body scrubs is very similar to the advise we would recommend after having a body wrap or a massage with a few addition tips for each treatment. What you should/shouldn't do after a body scrub:
Drink plenty of water after your treatment and throughout the rest of the day.
Relax for the 30-60mins (Couple of hours/rest of the day if you can).
Avoid drinking alcohol for 12 hours.
Avoid caffeine containing beverage for 12 hours.
Don't eat a large meal after your treatment.
Avoid doing any strenuous activities or exercises.
Apply a body moisturiser to your skin to maximise the results of your body scrub.

Body Scrubs Benefits:
Exfoliates your skin
During your treatment body scrub will be rubbed and massaged into your skin. By exfoliating your skin, it helps to remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil. This promotes new skin cells to grow and leaves your skin feel smoother.
Moisturises your skin
Once dead skin cells and dirt have been removed, it allows creams and moisturises to penetrate the deeper layers of your skin and absorb more efficiently. This will make your skin feel more hydrated and softer, giving it a healthy glow.
Improves Tanning
A great tip before you go on holiday is to have a full body scrub, this removes your dead skin cells, allowing the sun to tan your new cells. This will result in a healthy tan and glow for longer. Always remember to use a SPF when in the sun.
Reduces Breakouts and Acne
Exfoliation is an essential way to help manage Acne and breakouts. By exfoliating it will un-clog your pores from oil and dirt which can lead to breakouts, it also helps to minuses pore size.
What you should/shouldn't do after a body wrap:
Drink plenty of water after your treatment and for the next 7days.
Avoid drinking alcohol for 12 hours.
Avoid caffeine containing beverage for 12 hours.
Do not eat a large meal for 24 hour after your treatment.
Do not shower for 24 hours after the wrap.
Book in for your next treatment.
Maintaining your the results of your body wrap:
Consider a course of body wraps to gain long-lasting effects. (6-8 treatments, once or twice a week is recommend for best results).
Drink lots of water daily to flush toxins out of your body.
Exfoliate your body regularly.
Apply a specialized body cream for your specific concern.
Exercise regularly.
Limit your salt, sugar and caffeine intake.
Use a dry skin brush before you bath/shower to firm, tone and tighten your skin.
